Provides first level non-technical support to customers through basic case management and order taking. Responds to customers via phone, chat, email and other communication tools. Upsells and cross-sells products in support of the sales team.


  • Receives and responds to customer inquiries for assistance with product orders, returns, issues or requests
  • Processes orders through multiple platforms/tools, including phone, email, fax, website, vendor and customer portals
  • Processes quotes and follows up with customers as needed
  • Issues returns credits, miscellaneous debits/credits (price adjustments, freight adjustments, etc.)
  • Provides lead generation for sales by promoting related or targeted products to callers.
  • Assists in outbound call campaigns
  • Maintains database information as needed


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years in Customer Service or similar role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to follow defined processes with attention to detail
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute
  • Familiarity with industry products and solutions
  • Solid problem resolution skills
  • Ability to collaborate with Team Members and customers
