Overview

Black Box Network Services Federal division is a premier provider of Voice, Data, Transport, and Cabling infrastructure services and products to the Federal Government and supporting organizations.

Responsibilities

Opening for a Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Technician supporting a Radio Access Facility (RAF) and three Ka-band antennas with 60 foot dishes.

  • Work with military and commercial SATCOM systems including AEHF, WGS, DCS, MUOS, UFO, EMI and jamming as well as expertise with DoD ground and airborne SATCOM terminals
  • Support the validation of net-centric network operations into WIN-T and associated systems migration to WIN-T to accomplish a seamless DoDIN Network
  • Create and document telecommunication system overviews and recommendations for enhancements and changes

Qualifications

In-d knowledge of and experience with one or more of the following functionalities, systems, or areas of expertise is desired:

  • MUOS Integrated Ground System
  • MUOS Performance Specification
  • SATCOM terminal communications
  • MUOS Planning Model
  • MUOS CONOPS
  • MUOS-Legacy Gateway Component

On-site operations and maintenance support of equipment, systems, and facility for the Mobile

User Objective System (MUOS) Radio Access Facility (RAF) and three Ka-band antennas with 60 foot dishes. During the performance period of this contract

 

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience
