Overview

Black Box has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cisco Contract Services Specialist.  The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and be comfortable speaking with Account Executives, customers, and sales support colleagues. This position is best suited for someone who is organized and capable of working efficiently on their own with minimal supervision and within a team.  The successful candidate will have the following profile:

  • Knowledge of Cisco products and services (SNTC, Total Care, UCSS, etc.)
  • Proficient in CSCC and CCW quoting tools
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once/time management
  • Good communication skills with account managers, customers and vendors

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and processes detailed orders for service contract renewals
  • Acquires information and utilizes vendor tools (web-based) to produce accurate support quotes for customer presentation
  • Becomes knowledgeable of vendor support programs and is able to communicate them effectively to Account Managers and customers
  • Assists with reporting on attainment towards meeting renewal rate goals
  • Interlocks with Sales teams to contribute to overall Account Strategy and Planning, especially with respect to the ADOPT and Expand motions.
  • Define a joint services strategy and statement of future requirements in collaboration with delivery and sales teams
  • Ensures that assigned customers evolve and adopt a Smart Solution based operations model based on the Cisco Services Lifecycle Model and One Services Portfolio
  • Improve value of Cisco services to the customer through focused best practices
  • Ability to align Cisco Services with customer at a business level

The Cisco Contract Services Specialist will be responsible for renewing Cisco contracts in established accounts as well as growth of the Cisco services renewal base. They will be working with the Account Manager, Cisco, and the customer to ensure delays to their support agreements do not occur.

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of contract services renewal process required including experience with Cisco SMARTnet.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office (strong emphasis on Excel).
  • Must have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team-building, organization and time management skills are required.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize simultaneous tasks.
  • Must be willing to interact with internal and external customers and vendors.
  • Skilled at escalation and issue management and managing customer expectations
  • May require onsite meetings
