The Distribution Sales Support Representative provides first level non-technical support to customers through basic case management.  Responds to customers via phone, email and other communication tools.  Upsells and cross-sells products in support of the sales team.


  • Supports distribution business including all day to day sales and customer support functions, product orders, returns, issues or requests.
  • Manage and set up all part numbers as needed to support distribution. Check and verify all part numbers are set up correctly on distribution sites.
  • Provide large opportunity support including special and deal registration pricing, including timely and accurate completion of ACOP’S and SPA’S.
  • Manage and collaborate with Distribution Sales Manager to qualify and address large opportunities, including entering all large opportunities in Sales Force.
  • Participate in weekly pipeline reviews with each distribution sales team.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve problems, issues and customer complaints.
  • Proactively engage distribution sales representatives to build and develop relationships to increase sales.
  • Supports data feed and EDI platforms including the additions and removals of new and discontinued products.


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years in Customer Service or similar role
  • Possess good communication and listening skills
  • Ability to follow defined processes with attention to detail
  • Must be well-organized, energetic and driven to meet individual and corporate goals
  • Familiarity with industry products and solutions
  • Solid problem resolution skills
  • Ability to collaborate with Team Members and customers
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
