We are currently seeking a Learning & Development Specialist.  This position will report to the Director of Talent & Development and will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate organizational effectiveness and professional development across the enterprise. This position will assist in areas such as performance management, talent review and succession planning, change management, culture and employee engagement.  The desired location for this position is Lawrence, PA.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Designs and develops processes in support of OD/Talent strategies, programs and policies (i.e., performance management, talent review, change management, learning , culture and employee engagement)
  • Partners with specialists from other COEs and HRBL’s to ensure organization development solutions are integrated across the business.
  • Develops job aids, training programs, and facilitates implementation of appropriate change management initiatives and reviews current development programs to ensure adherence to company goals.
  • Leads culture building initiatives organization wide. 
  • Performs data analyses using multiple methods including Excel to measure progress and ROI of OD strategies and programs.
  • Conducts research on best practices in OD and talent management space, and provides recommendations around best practices and business application.
  • Conducts and Manages New Hire Orientation and Onboarding
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for learning and development vendors
  • Performs a variety of other duties as assigned.


The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in Human Resources, preferably focused in Learning or Organizational Development
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, leadership, or related field required; an impressive combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Early adopter or new technologies and concepts
  • Experience with a cloud-LMS, Articulate, and instructural design a plus
  • ADVANCED Microsoft Office skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, influence, customer service and collaboration skills required
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively balance competing priorities during project lifecycles while adhering to specific deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
