We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to support our Operations and Sales functions.  This position will report to the Director of Talent & Development and will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies to identify and engage with qualified exempt-level candidates across all assigned functional and geographical areas of Black Box, with special emphasis on recruitment of candidates a high degree of technical knowledge and/or ability.  The incumbent will evaluate and recommend high-quality candidates who meet the skills and requirements of the position, while striving to exceed defined recruitment goals and metrics.  The ideal person will have an innovative mindset as it relates to attracting top talent coupled with solid business acumen that is deeply in-tune with the technology/intelligent digital edge market.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and employ creative and proactive sourcing strategies for mostly exempt-level positions by utilizing internet recruiting strategies, job boards, social media, referrals, networking and other recruiting sources.
  • Work with hiring managers to assess hiring needs and develop external postings that are attractive to potential candidates and that are aligned with Black Box corporate vision and values.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to assigned managers on recruiting best practices, industry trends, candidate interviewing strategies and techniques.
  • Review resumes and conduct phone screens to assess knowledge, experience, ability, motivation, and overall interest in the opportunity.
  • Recommend qualified candidates to appropriate manager for further review.
  • Responsible for promoting and maintaining fair employment practices.
  • Track all sourcing activity.
  • Perform administrative tasks in a timely manner related to job function. This includes reporting, system updates, candidate summaries, and others responsibilities as defined by the needs of the job.
  • Lead and contribute to special projects as needed including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, systems, training.
  • Performs a variety of other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in full cycle recruitment and/or sourcing
  • IT Technical staffing experience required
  • Must have very strong sales aptitude and enthusiasm to build and create opportunity (business development, strong qualifying skills, networking, and client service)
  • Consultative approach with ability to influence decision makers
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks/opportunities at a time, maintaining organization and priorities
  • Client focused, with strong people skills and communication/follow-up skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of general employment practices, including EEO and OFCCP compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Experience with iCIMS preferred
  • Comfortable in a dynamic work environment
