Tyto Athene is seeking a qualified senior level Wireless LAN System Administrator to provide onsite full-time support to the US Marine Corp Enterprise Network (MCEN) Wireless Local Area Network at multiple facilities at a USMC base in Northern Virginia, with support to remote networks. Some travel may be required.
The MCEN-N WLAN System Administrator is responsible for the initial implementation and day-to-day management and sustainment of the MCEN-N WLAN Master Controllers that will support centralized management of the MCEN-N WLAN enterprise system. The MCEN-N WLAN System Administrator leads and coordinates operational support and implementation activities for Local Area Network (LAN), Campus Area Network (CAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) service offerings encompassing heterogeneous platforms. The WLAN System Administrator will report to the Marine Corps Cyber Operations Group (MCCOG) and will assist the MCCOG throughout the MCEN-N WLAN implementation to include integration of the local controller and Wireless Access Points (WAP) to the MCEN-N WLAN architecture. Ongoing sustainment responsibilities include configuration changes and updates, support to change management processes, Tier 3/Level 3 system troubleshooting in support of local and remote systems, ongoing assessment and application of patches and updates, mitigation of cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and other subject matter expertise support as required.
