  • Overview

    The Scheduler works in conjunction with the onsite Project Manager, Global Program Director, and onsite Construction Management to create and manage the day to day schedule of the data center rollout.  This role will also be responsible for providing timely and reliable cost, schedule, and performance measurements in accordance with the program governance requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Create and maintain master implementation schedule in Microsoft Project and calculate EVM metrics/impacts to the project milestones.
    • Work with Construction Management and Project/Program Management to determine weekly inbound forecast and develop consumption models to improve accuracy.
    • Establish key performance indicators of forecast accuracy.
    • Schedule demand based on the product mix and provide accurate commitment dates to Project/Program team across multiple product lines.
    • Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the implementation plan.
    • Establish reporting to determine labor and productivity performance statistics.
    • Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production activity control

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • Solid proven organizational, project management, and leadership skills.
    • Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex data.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of management.
    • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Project and putting together large scale project plans.
    • Must acquire knowledge of Primavera 6 and any client specific software or tools management.
    • Strong PC skills (Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel).
    • Work flexible hours as required by Management.
    • Work independently as well as in teams, in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Must be punctual and have good attendance.

    Education/Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
    • Strong working knowledge of Primavera 6 a plus.
