    Tyto Athene LLC is seeking an experienced and certified Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) to oversee the transition of the SSA field locations as part of the agency’s Next Generation Telephony Project (NGTP). The Sr. PM will act as the Implementation Manager,
    responsible for all aspects of field sites system transition planning, installation, and cutover. The Sr. PM defines, plans, manages, and reports on contractual requirements and overall performance of the field site transition, providing fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resource oversight.   Join a team that sets the standard for superior performance and quality as recognized by our customers around the globe.

    Responsibilities

    Description/Responsibilities:

    Principle duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Provides program team leadership, serves as the Field Contact to the Program Manager and COR  responsibility for ensuring successful deployment and management of the field site transition for both external and internal customers
    •  
    • Develops/defines project work scopes for Tyto and subcontractor resources involved in the field site rollout
    • Develops transition plans and schedules for the field site rollout. Coordinates and integrates the field site rollout into the overall SSA NGTP transition plan and schedule 
    • Ensures program team understands and has appropriate resources to meet and verify all contractual requirements (cost, technical, schedule) to include performance, quality, regulatory compliance, etc.
    • Conducts weekly reviews of transition activities to report and track performance (Earned Value Management) against the approved costs, transition plan and schedule
    • Provides program direction during all phases of the field site rollout (proposal, contract negotiation/award, program kickoff, program execution, program close out) to accomplish cost, and schedule objectives and proactively works with the team and customer to address and mitigate the impact of unplanned events (failures, realized risks, material issues, etc.) on the organization and customer
    • Develops site cutover plans, post cutover tests and verification checklists
    • Assists in the development of change orders associated with the rollout to include:
      • Work scope development
      • Technical proposal writing
      • Price quote review
    • Works closely with the teams that comprise the SSA NGTP Project Management Office (PMO) and customer Stakeholders; tracks stakeholder requirements
    • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
    • Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
    • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, project management, management information systems or related field and at least 10 years of experience in IT and business/industry work experience
    • Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Manager Professional (PMP),
    • Understanding of risk management. PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) desirable

    • Familiarity with the Industry standards, orders and policies, including the following:
      • Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI)
      • National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
      • Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)
      • Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) / Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) or ISO/IEC 11801
      • National Emergency Management Association (NEMA)
      • American National Standards Institute(ANSI)
      • Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA)
    • Business, marketing and technical writing preferred
    • Experience with Earned Value Management methodologies
    • Understanding of Federal government procurement regulations and practices (including FAR and DFAR) and Acquisition Integrity Regulations
    • Excellent communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of management
    • Excellent problem-solving ability
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software such as MS Project is required
    • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles

     

    Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

    • Project or Program Manager for a medium or large nation-wide multi-site voice, UC, and/or IT system implementation
    • Representative experience applying Earned Value Management principals and reporting techniques to a project or program
    • Representative experience applying ITIL Service Lifecycle management principals to a project or ITIL Intermediate Certification preferred
    • Program Management Professional (PgMP) and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification(s) a plus
    • Proven repeated experience developing and driving innovative solutions to business problems, convincing stakeholders of their value and driving delivery and adoption from inception through successful implementation
