Tyto Athene is seeking a qualified Systems Engineer III with extensive experience supporting IT Managed Services programs for Federal Government Agencies, including, but not limited to the Department of Defense and/or Department of Energy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Engineer/Scientist III (Systems Engineer III) is responsible for providing technical expertise supporting a wide range of Telephony and Unified Capabilities (UC) systems (herein known as Telephony UC Systems). Telephony UC systems support will include UC voice and video systems, video teleconferencing (VTC), voice over internet protocol (VoIP), voice over secure internet protocol (VoSIP), video teleconferencing over internet protocol (VTCoIP), video conferencing over secure internet protocol (VTCoSIP), telephony management, messaging and ancillary systems, as well as future systems being developed in multiple environments. These environments include standalone, distributed, regional, enterprise and in multiple enclaves to include unclassified, secret, coalition, and NATO. The System Engineer shall demonstrate knowledge and experience with UC local session controllers (LSC), routers, switches, gateways, Edge Boundary Controllers (EBCs), computers and servers.
